Loftia system requirements

On Steam, Loftia asks for Windows 10 64-bit, 8 GB of RAM, a GTX 1050 or RX 560 class GPU, and 10 GB of disk at minimum. Mac minimum is macOS 14 Sonoma on an Apple M2 with 8 GB. Intel Macs are not supported. Epic publishes a lower Windows table and 8 GB storage. The tables below are Steam's, checked October 23, 2026.

I pulled pc_requirements and mac_requirements from the Steam appdetails API on October 23, 2026, and then opened the Epic product page. Epic still says things like Windows 10, an i3, 6 GB of RAM, and a GTX 950. That block does not match Steam’s current minimum. When two stores disagree, I follow the store whose requirements mention the M2 and the Intel exclusion, which is Steam.

Windows on Steam

Both tiers need a broadband connection. There is no offline mode.

Mac and Steam Deck

Mac minimum is macOS 14, Apple M2, 8 GB, the integrated M2 GPU, and 10 GB. Recommended is an M2 Pro and 16 GB. The same note appears on both rows: Intel-based Macs are not supported.

The FAQ says Steam Deck is supported and that the game is fully playable on a gamepad. Valve’s Deck Verified rating was not on the store page when I checked. Demo notes said machines under 16 GB, and installs on external drives, were the ones that stalled. That is a stability warning, not a second requirements table.

Questions

How big is the download?

Steam lists 10 GB available space for both Windows and Mac. A separate installed-size measurement after launch is not published yet.

Will a 2019 Intel iMac work?

Steam says no. Intel Macs are not supported, including machines with a lot of RAM.

Which requirements should Epic buyers use?

Compare both stores before purchase. Epic lists a lower CPU/GPU tier and 8 GB storage; Steam lists 10 GB. We use Steam's more demanding published table for planning, but have not verified the reason for the difference.
