How long is the Loftia demo?

The public dates are October 19–26, 2026. An official email, quoted by loftiadex, says 17:00 UTC on the last day. The demo page does not print that clock time.

Do demo rewards include the Steam Hat?

No. The hat and Early Loftian Shirt are pre-registration rewards. Demo rewards are the banner, Pebble Chair, and Pebble Couch.

Can I reach Hanging Gardens in the demo?

No. The demo quest line ends before that area. Hanging Gardens is Early Access content.

Loftia Demo: October 19–26, 2026 on Steam

I read loftia.gg/demo/ on October 23, while the window was still open, and checked that Steam still lists the game as coming soon rather than as a paid release. The demo page is explicit that progress and your character name can carry into Early Access, with one character per account. It is also explicit that the demo quest line ends before Hanging Gardens, so that district is Early Access content, not a demo objective.

What you can earn

These three rewards are demo rewards. They are not the pre-registration cosmetics. You claim them by binding the account on the official site.

Demo Banner, for entering the Player Neighborhood the first time.
Pebble Chair, for inviting one person.
Pebble Couch, for inviting two people.

Keep your character name and claim rewards

The official demo page says your progress and character name carry over. To keep a demo name reserved, log into Early Access between November 3, 2026 and February 3, 2027. If you do not, the name can become available to other players.

Create or sign into your account on loftia.gg, then link that account in-game using the same email address. Return to the official website to track and claim earned demo rewards. The October 19 developer announcement warns that unlinked progress and rewards cannot be recovered; do not assume that entering the neighborhood alone saves them.

If the demo will not start

For demo or playtest access, use Steam app 2320980 and the official October 19–26 demo window. An older closed-beta entitlement is different from the public demo. Check Steam's download state and current official service notices before troubleshooting; this page cannot diagnose an individual installation.

Rewards that do not show up in game are claimed from the official site after the email is bound. The demo page is the checklist, not a code box.

Betabara not showing is a beta-reward question

Betabara is an exclusive pet skin described in Qloud Games' closed-beta completion rewards, intended for Early Access. It is not a test-build name or a downloadable launcher. Check your original beta eligibility and the official BackerKit project updates; contact the official team about a missing entitlement. Do not assume it should appear as a new Steam demo shortcut.

After the window

When October 26 has passed, the next dated step is Early Access on November 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. EST. Carried progress does not waive the purchase. Pre-registration cosmetics are a different set: the Steam Hat and the Early Loftian Shirt.
