Who makes Loftia?
Loftia is developed and published by Qloud Games Pty Ltd, based in Sydney. Martina Qin is founder and creative director. Michael Su is founder and game director. Eric Mallon is the US co-founder and engineering lead. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5.
I matched the names on loftia.gg/about/ with the Kickstarter studio location and a Forbes Australia story from August 18, 2025. That Forbes piece is a single media source for the $7.5 million seed round led by GFR and Bitkraft, with a16z Speedrun involved earlier. I am labeling it as one article, not as a filing I downloaded. Kickstarter update #49, in May 2026, described a team of 35. The about page later lists 37 named people plus a security group of 6. Headcount moves. Both numbers stay, with their dates.
What the studio has shipped in public
The public project is Loftia: a 2023 Kickstarter that raised $1,271,661 from 16,740 backers, a demo in October 2026, and Early Access on November 3, 2026. I am not attaching older game titles to the studio, because the about page I read is about this team and this game.
A 2023 blog on loftia.gg says a game like Loftia does not have combat, and describes the work of building an indie MMO, including concurrency tests. That blog is history of the approach, not a current server cap.
Names people search
Martina Qin and Michael Su are founders, not villagers in the character creator. A community credit written “Sue — Community” is on the about page. A full surname is not printed there.
