Loftia fishing

Fishing is a Loftia proficiency, and Early Access lets it level past the demo cap. The official demo page puts cozy fishing spots in Hanging Gardens. That district is Early Access. The demo quest line ends before you get there. There is no official fish table, bait list, or bite timer.

I looked for a spot map and did not find one I would trust. What I can point at is the demo page’s description of Hanging Gardens, Kassim’s role on the official carousel (biodiversity researcher and fishing expert), and the Collector Rod at levels 1 and 2 on the equipment table. The Codex resource list includes Allis Shad, Atlantic Salmon, Atlantic Sturgeon, and Bahia Brain Coral from demo data. Those names are not a “best spot” guide.

What you need

Craft or upgrade a Collector Rod. The scrap-wire page is part of that crafting chain; I am not expanding it into a full rod recipe the Codex does not spell out in one block.

Kassim is the person the site associates with fishing. Herb tends Hanging Gardens, which is also described as having community farms and a dark forest on the edge of Loftia City. You will not fish that loop during the October demo.

How the beta fishing tutorial works

The community gaming.tools tutorial is beta data checked on October 18, 2026. These steps describe that tutorial; recheck the interface in Early Access on November 3. A fishing tutorial in a database does not mean the October demo includes the fishing district.

  • Equip the Collector Rod.
  • Aim at the water ripple and cast.
  • Wait for the fishing interaction to trigger.
  • Click when the float reaches the green area, completing each circle of the minigame.

Spots, bait and odds

The checked sources do not establish exact pier coordinates, bait requirements, time-of-day effects or rare-fish percentages for Early Access. Kassim and Hanging Gardens are the published starting points; a verified spot map needs the released build.
